Durability

It’s made out of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with IP65 standard so it is very resistant to water, dust, etc.

The design of the flashlight is actually made so that it does not scratch as easily and if you ever drop it, it won’t break or dent as much, compared with other brands with generic design.

Lightweight and portable

It’s about 5 inches long x 2 inches wide, which is a lot smaller than flashlights that are not as nearly as bright, so it easily fits in pockets!

For its size the TC1200 is actually one of the brightest and versatile flashlights out there.

Easy to hold on to

The design makes it easy to hold on to and it does not slip from the hand even when it is wet.

Zoom in & focus feature

You can use it with a wide cast range or a focused cast range with the zoom in and out feature. It’s like a camera.

If you want to light up farther distances, you have to use the zoom-in focus feature. Some bad PR reviews show the TC1200 flashlight without using the focus feature, but once it’s focused it can light up pretty far.

Versatile multi-functional use

You can use this flashlight for many different occasions.

While it is a great camping trip flashlight, you can also use it in your house if your power suddenly goes out or even as a self-defense tool.

You can enable the strobe light effect with a few clicks, which can cause disorientation and distraction.

How to get the most out of it?

I highly recommend that you get 18650 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Batteries to produce 2X the brightness.

Generic AAA batteries do not produce enough power to get the full potential of your flashlight. With 18650 Lithium batteries, you will not only get more brightness, but you will also save money and help the environment by being less wasteful.

How far does it light up?

You can expect to reach at least 100 yards in a dark environment. However, take a look for yourself and be the judge.

What material is it made out of? How durable is it?

It is made out of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, which makes it incredibly durable and resistant to corrosion whilst being very light-weight.

Fun fact: A lot of military vehicles are made out of aluminum alloy.

What kind of batteries does it use?

TC1200 uses either 3 AAA batteries or 18650 Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Batteries. The rechargeable batteries actually produce more light compared with AAA batteries.

Who makes Them?

1Tac company makes the TC1200 flashlights. Besides just flashlights, they make other military-like equipment for outdoor use.

Where to buy It?

It is much better to buy from the actual website because on Amazon and other websites, you could potentially get a knock-off brand or get scammed.

While they may look similar, they surely won’t perform the same and are not made out of the same material.

Who developed 1TAC

Rick Bennink is the founder and CEO of 1TAC.

The 1TAC flashlights are advertised to be made in the U.S, but they most likely import the materials from other countries before assembly.

You need 1 Li-ion rechargeable battery.

It’s fairly easy, just insert the battery into the charger and plug it into an outlet.

How many Lumens is 1TAC TC800 light

The TC800 is 320 Lumens. It is fine for most household use, but for the outdoors, maybe higher Lumens will be required.

What is TC1200

The TC1200 is a newer product from 1TAC that is powerful and very bright.

It can stand extreme temperatures and is very durable.

Where are they manufactured

They say the TC1200 is made in the U.S, but I wouldn’t doubt if some of the parts come from outside the U.S.

What is the length?

The product dimensions are 5.1 inches long, 1.9 inches wide, and weigh about 0.35 pounds.

It can light up to a few hundred yards.

How to fix the LED flashlight

A common problem with LED lights is that the connectors can disconnect or the CREE lightbulb might break. Either replace the bulb or check whether the wires are connecting.
